Personally Identifiable Information.
Interior Intelligence collects Personal Information that Users provide to us, such as but not limited to name, mailing address, phone number, email address (“Personal Information”).
Non-Personal Information.
Interior Intelligence collects non-personal information from Users, such as IP address, browser type and operating system (“Non-Personal Information”). Interior Intelligence uses Non-Personal Information to improve our services and the Website.
Interior Intelligence collects Personal Information from the Users at several different points on the Website:
Information collected on Registration
Certain features including but not limited to generating room designs, buying credits, receiving email notifications, participating in the blog discussions, creating profiles and signing up require you to submit personal information including but not limited to your name and email address to the Website. You may also be able to submit your location information so we can provide you a more personalized experience of the Website. You are not anonymous to us when you register with the Website and sign in to our services.
Your Choice to Opt-out
Users can choose to ‘opt-out’ of having your Personal information used for marketing purposes. For example, you can indicate on our registration form if you do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from the Website or Interior Intelligence. You may opt-out of receiving newsletters and promotional emails from the website or Interior Intelligence by following the instructions included in each newsletter or by contacting us at [email protected].
Interior Intelligence automatically collects other Non-Personal information on our server logs from your browser even if you do not sign up to Interior Intelligence, for example, your IP address, operating system and browser type. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and helps us to provide you with an optimized Website experience. This information is not used to identify any individual.
Interior Intelligence is the sole owner of the information received and recorded on the Website. Interior Intelligence does not share, rent or trade your Personal Information with third parties for their promotional purposes. Interior Intelligence shares Personal Information with third parties to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
Disclosure to Successors.
In the event Interior Intelligence goes through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by or with another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. Disclosure to Third Party Service Providers and Online Partners. We use third parties such as production subcontractors and shipping companies to fulfill orders, an online payment company to process transactions, and an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf. We use cookies on this site and we may link the information we store in cookies to personally identifiable information. Interior Intelligence uses cookies to track your use of the Website and our services and to provide you with a more personalized user experience.
Interior Intelligence uses tracking technology to better understand site traffic and use patterns. None of the information collected via tracking technology is personally identifiable information. We use Google Analytics which provides us with Non-Personal information that helps us to understand the use of the Website better and improve the Interior Intelligence services. Users can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads by accessing Google Ads Settings. This will also opt the visitor out of non-personally identifiable demographic and interest tracking.
We may contract third party advertising companies to use web beacons (also known as clear gifs) on the Website. Web beacons are small graphic images, usually no larger than a 1×1 pixel. They are placed on a web page or in an email and they monitor the movement of the user visiting the Website or inform us whether and when an email is opened. Clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and they are not stored on your computer. We do not tie the information collected by clear gifs to Personal Information.
Interior Intelligence adheres to generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information. Unfortunately, no method of transmission via the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We only hold your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for as long as your account it open with us.
Interior Intelligence has specified retention periods for these purposes and customer orders will be kept for a maximum of five years, after which the information will be deleted or anonymised for business research and analysis. However, there may be a legal basis, such as the prevention of fraud and crime for which we will hold your information beyond this five year period and we may share your information with a law enforcement body, when required to do so.
The information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by employees or 3rd party service providers operating outside the EEA. We limit access to Personal Information about you to employees and 3rd party service providers who need to come into contact with Personal Information to provide products or services to you. They may not use the information for any other purpose. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy & Cookie Policy.
When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our registration or order forms, that information is encrypted by using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
As a customer of Interior Intelligence, you have rights with regards to how we use and hold your information. This includes:
